John (Ellis) is the best attorney I have ever worked with. From our first meeting, he explained everything to me in terms I could easily understand and was always very responsive when I had questions outside of our meetings, which was quite often as I'm a pain in the butt. I own a restaurant in the City of Chicago, lots of red tape, now when I have an issue I reach out to John first and he promptly responds and takes the time to explain the situation and my options. If anyone is looking for a knowledgeable attorney at a great price, then go to John.

Ms. Ellis represented my ex in his initial hearing. She became so angry with me she said she wouldn’t speak to me outside of the presence of the judge because I would not agree to let her represent my husband and I. She had already explained she would have my husband’s best interests at heart, since he initially retained her. Then she went into some tailspin when I declined the offer of her ‘services.’ How many idiots does she get that way? She was actually and visibly angry. Why would I want anyone who represents the other side’s interests? She’s a fool. She kept running her mouth trying to talk me into using her because my ex was angry that she couldn’t talk me into it. The judge wasn’t present. She says I won’t speak to you outside the presence of the Judge and then she goes off on a hysterical rant. I wouldn’t hire her to read a contract. Much less navigate a divorce trial. There are better attorneys available for your money. Don’t waste it on this pearl clutcher. *gasp* clutches pearls and moans ‘if you won’t use me, I won’t speak to you outside od the presence of the judge.” Continues to speak… continues to speak… no judge present; continues to speak. Eventually, I got bored with her dramatic antics and walked away. I would advise you to do the same.
