Reviews

If it was possible to leave no stars for a review that would be my preferred option. This was the worst physician experience I have ever encountered. The physician was rude, biased, and genuinely seemed disinterested in providing care. The concern that brought me in was dismissed and the hour or so long ED visit was in vain. Filing a complaint with EPPA was essentially a waste as a letter came back with a response that the physician's response/actions were "only in concern for your health". This type of treatment this physician and the parent organization is disheartening to say the least.

Absolutely the worst experience every. If it was up to me I would have your doors shut permanently. I will fn die before I ever set foot in another Fairview hospital.

Horrible experience! Went to Unity ER bent over in pain - couldn't stand up straight and hadn't slept in 2 days because I couldn't lay down in extreme pain -the Dr. I saw said I had a pinched nerve in my back gave me some tylenol(didn't ask if i had taken any) and sent me on my way. There was no exam- he sat on bed the whole time and talked while I sat in the chair. I left no better than when I got there. My discharge papers said lower back pain right side- it was extreme pain on my left side! 2days later I went to Urgent care no better and was thoroughly examined given pain meds and an anti inflammatory and the nurses offered me a wheelchair since I could barely walk ( no one cared in the ER had to do my best sluggin long) I felt improvement in 2 days but when I complained to Unity about the visit they forwarded my complaint to EPPA-I recieved a letter from EPPA stating that they had spoken to the ER Dr. and he felt he had given me a comprehensive exam and looked at my history to make a diagnoses therefore there was no bases for my complaint according to the DR.and the evaluator - the Dr lied about the visit and his performance! They never contacted me themselves- the patient advocate i spoke with forwarded my complaint to them - now I owe an emergency room bill for service I didn't even get !I didn't know about EPPA until this happened but I will ask from now on Update 12/20/19 Recieved a call after I responded to the request for more details to be emailed to EPPA. My complaint was being forwarded to the medical director for review. A week later recieved a letterfrom the director stating he had reviewed the report and spoke to the Dr. and quality control and still felt like they had treated me in the best interest but because I was so unhappy they were giving me a discount on the bill -they are still standing by the Dr that lied about his exam and treatment- still have to pay for service I didn't get

Terrible service. The billing experience is outrageous. They have policies that are only focusing on making things really difficult and raising fear on customers. I don't know why Methodist Hospital will hire them as providers. As I customer, specially in a situation of emergency, we don't have a choice. Otherwise, I would never choose EPPA
