I was referred to the Miller Law Group by a colleague for a personal injury case and am so thankful. Working with Mr. Miller and Ciara made the headache of my claim go away. They handled everything and more, such as getting medical bills and payment for property damage, and fought to get me the best settlement without having to enter the court room. One thing I was not prepared for was how lengthy the process is (primarily because of the insurance agents of the at fault part) and that the Miller team doesn't always have frequent updates for you. Sometimes life throws you a big fat curve ball and you need help navigating what to do next. This happened to me at a "big box store." I am literally one of those customers who was shopping in a store and merchandise fell on top of my head, neck and shoulders. Believe me when I say it is literally a "stop life in it's tracks" experience. The one thing I did know, was I needed to find a good attorney immediately. He helped me understand the law and what the store was legally responsible for. We met where the accident occurred and recounted exactly what happened. We talked about what it would be like going to litigation and we talked about mediation. Because I had to have X-rays, MRI's and ultimately surgery and physical therapy it was a long process. However, in the end our hard work paid off and the big box store requested mediation and offered a settlement considered fair. I am so grateful to Kurt and the entire Miller Law Group!
