Bryan Selna is a LIAR and is likely protecting the other side! Do NOT do business here! Bryan Selna and his team are deceptive, and if you were referred here they are likely working against you on behalf of the other party, despite supposing to be a neutral third party. My repairs were not completed upon my home, and they held back money from the seller. Bryan Selna lied to me continuously (through an exchange of 16 emails) about the sellers rights, and how despite the reason that the seller was in breach of contract, I HAD to do what they said and that I had no recourse (despite AZ state law saying otherwise). He informed me the seller was not in breach of contract (he later admitted that she was). He said that the holdback agreement over wrote the contract, then admitted it did not. Bryan Selna has done everything in his power to deceive me and help shield the seller from her failure to execute the contract. Then, when trying to fulfill my no recourse contract, he said we weren't home (my wife and I were on the couch) when the contractor showed up. Even though I wrote him from MY IP address and have an IP history showing activity starting from 10 minutes after they were supposedly here, even though they waited 10 minutes (supposedly). We live in a Condo, like we wouldn't hear the door knock! He then covered this for the seller again. The holdback is also written in such a way that he can disburse the funds to her at anytime. I know shame on me for noticing sooner! While Bryan Selna has (likely) not done anything illegal, they have been the worst kind of unethical and are not fulfilling their duty as a neutral third party, in fact he has been quite biased to the seller. Bryan Selna and fidelity national title are not on your side, and are not to be trusted. Especially if required by the other party! Choose another escrow company or walk away.
Other than having us go to the location in Scottsdale, everything was smooth and professional. Nice staff, took care of our signing and followed up with us when all was recorded.
