Attorney Fitzsimmons was appointed as a GAL for my son. He didn't contact any collaterals to obtain information regarding what was best for my son. He made reccomendations based on information provided by a social worker who was supposed to complete a home study for both parents, however the information provided by her was before she had contacted any collaterals. Black and white information was provided, yet this attorney didn't seem to have the time or ambition to read it and make an informed decision.

Don't hire and I think he secretly defends you while representing the State's Attorney's office. His only experience is making deals definitely not a trial attorney. Oh did I mention his only communication with you is to ask for money never to talk to you about your case and he never answers the phone, or calls back do not hire this attorney.
