My hairstylist recently moved away and I needed a new stylist. I bought a Groupon to visit Debra French and she cancelled both of my appointments. The second one, she didn't even reach out to me directly. She emailed a cancellation without an explanation. I have a work conference next week and this has delayed any plans of getting my hair done before the event. This is not very professional.
She is so rude. I don't like her and also I saw her how to cut hair. It was awful. If you love your hair you should not go to Urban hair by debra french
Debra did an amazing job on my hair. I had an idea of what I needed done, but didn't know exactly how to describe it. However, she knew exactly what I was talking about and had great ideas and pictures to show me right away. She did a great job of making my highlights look natural and gave me a great hair style. It was fun chatting with her as well. She works out of a nice studio of her own inside Pheonix Hair Salon. She also offers excellent deals through groupon. I would highly recommend Debra!!!
I got the groupon because it was a super good deal and I have heard good reviews about this place. I already have some color in my hair, but the previous lady did NOT do a good job (I quiet literally have only 3 highlights showing in my hair) , and I paid an arm and a leg. I got the groupon b/c I am truly trying to find a new stylist but don't want to keep paying 100s of dollars (I have jumped around a bit). nAnyway, I scheduled an appointment with Debra online and she canceled it without discussing it with me first. She then justified it by flat out refusing to do my hair. She suggested I buy a more expensive package even though I explained to her I just wanted more color not color correction. She said "I cannot garuntee results", which didn't make sense. What kind of hair stylist would flat out just say "I don't think I will do a good job". Its clear now that she simply just does not want to do my hair. nCostumer service is clearly not a priority. I just wanted my hair done for my birthday.
I got to my appointment today at 4, door was locked and the lights were off. I called her and told her my name and that I was there for my appointment and she hung up on me. Called back and she put me to voicemail. this was the third time she cancelled (or blew me off) in a row over the course of a month. First with the flu, then because her son got hurt, and then again with the flu. Same day cancellations. When I asked her what the deal was, she denied canceling on me more than once. I have the email receipts to prove it and I sent them to her. She said nothing, no apologies or anything and blocked me. By the way, I only wanted a haircut. I can see why she has her own hair studio, no business professional would ever put up with her antics. Save your energy with this woman and go somewhere else. Easily the most insane experience I have ever had with a person in the beauty industry. Do not give her your time or business because she has no respect for either. I promise you, you'll regret it.
