I spent 2 summers on Sanibel when I was very young. It's been some 40 years since I have been there again but I'll tell you what it's fantastic! Clean, and very well kept. When I last saw a Captiva when I was young it was rather desolate and plain, but now it is grown and to one of the most phenomenal places I've ever seen in my life. If you're looking for a hideaway this is the spot.
