I response to Candace Calhoun, I believe EEOC provided attorney for black American or white American only, EEOC is not providing any attorney for other Nations. So your comments is not value at all. Another word is that EEOC is extremely bias, unfair, discrimination against other Nations.
Why You Don't Want to File a Charge with the NC Civil Rights Division (IMO as a former investigator/attorney) 1.The CRD Director had a sexual harassment complaint filed against him and was disciplined for sending sex emails. Thus, any attorney may invalidate Mr. Goins decisions due to his own incriminating conduct. 2.The EEOC has a civil rights attorney who can bring a lawsuit on your behalf. The CRD has no such attorney. 3.The CRD Director, who is not an attorney, cites an overruled case in his response to the sexual harassment case filed against him. This serious error raises the question as to how many incorrect decisions he has made that were based upon invalid, overruled case law.4.A Legislative Study indicates the CRD may lack authority to enforce federal EEOC law:This is a disaster because an attorney may challenge any CRD decisions.5.Don't be duped into settling your case by resigning.Your settlement is a public record and employers will know you resigned instead of being dismissed.nnYou have the right to file your charge directly with the federal EEOC and insist they investigate it and NOT transfer it to the NC Civil Rights Division.
