Richard Marker's billing practices are illegal. Not only does he submit bills several months after the work was completed he does not include details then demands payment for his work immediately. We spoke with Alexis who called Richard Marker a "baboon" in her review which coincidentally was erroneously listed as a 5 star review when it should be a 1 star review. She had the same experience as we did. From what we have heard from other previous clients of Richard Marker they all have experienced the same. Do not believe his lies in his "owner responses". He is by far one of the worst UD attorneys in LA. From his legal acumen to his billing practices he is a 1 star attorney. No excuses he can write below will change that reality.

If you want to hire a disorganized attorney who always encourages you to settle due to his awful legal skills while demanding payment on excessive bills without details then Richard Marker is the right attorney for you. His office is a total mess with papers everywhere. When I went to court with him, he was never prepared and always encouraged us to settle under terrible conditions. Lastly, because his office is so disorganized, his bills are always months late and they do not have details as required by the CA State Bar. There are plenty of other tenant law attorneys out there.

Attorney Richard Marker is a complete baboon. Not only does he ignore all email and phone calls. But, when he does answer, he's incredible disrespectful and rude.
