Hired Kevin due to a frozen accounts case, he didn't submit paperwork for 2 weeks after I hired him. Afterwards every time I tried getting in contact with him he never responded back. I basically had to reach out to the court and the bank to retrieve documents to send over to get my account unfrozen. Then he charges me for the work I did for him, but I paid him then he sent another bill for work he stated he did but I didn't even hire him to do (emailing the other attorneys to drop the settlement payment and phone calls he conducted) after my account was unfrozen. In my opinion he shows more interest in money then actually helping his client. He does the minimum work but bills you for work that wasn't even asked of him or helpful to my case. When I hired him we agreed on a price, in which I paid then when he billed me for the work I did but he took credit for I just paid him so no issues were raised due to my current credit score. But now he is taking advantage of that billing me a third time and stating he will charge a 1.5 percent interest a month if not paid. I even talked to him through email and the phone and the only explanation he said was they were closing cost. But looking at the in depth detail of the bill of what he was charging for.... .15 hours of emailing the other attorneys also .30 hrs for talking to the attorneys on the phone after the job was completed that I hired him for. He took the initial steps which I was clear on telling him i didn't want him to reach out to try and get a settlement but he neglected my wishes and did anyway and know charging me for the time. As before he does the minimum work, you would basically need to do most of the work to have the job done correctly and then he disregards your authority and wishes and then expects you to pay the time he supposedly spent on something I didn't hire him for. Basically I agree with the other gentlemen that gave him a bad rating... If you want to do the work but pay a lawyer for the work you completed then you should hire him.

I wish that my present day self could tell my warn my newly separated self to avoid Kevin like the plague. In my opinion, he absolutely butchered my divorce & custody case. I gave him all the evidence and information regarding my case. He wouldn't return my phone calls or e-mails. He filed papers without my permission. I felt he made so many mistakes that I don't he actually did anything right. When the first hearing started, I had no idea what to expect. My ex's attorney's had stacks of prepared questions and closing arguments and my attorney had a blank pad and he actually wrote his closing argument during the hearing. By the end of the hearing, it was clear to me that he had never read a lick of the information I provided him. It cost me an arm and a leg to hire other lawyers to try to salvage the mess he had created, but the damage was already done. I lost SO MUCH because of this man. To top it off, I felt he was incredibly rude.

Awesome lawyer, used him for a support case, and other non related Cases. Highly recommend.

I would steer clear.
