I would not recommend Ms. S. Tomshinsky of Hometown Law. Ms. Tomshinsky was hired in November 2019, to represent me during my divorce. She presented herself as a top-notch divorce attorney who could get the job done. Her first recommendation was that I hire England & Associates Rehabilitation Services, St. Petersburg, FL to prove my ex-wife could work and become self-sufficient. I questioned her on this because I did not have the burden to prove she could work; opposing council had to prove she could not. This recommendation proved to be a costly mistake, and the expert was never used. However, I was charged astronomical fees incurred by Ms. Tomshinsky’s excessive phone calls, request for reports, etc. During our court appearances we lost every motion filed, every objection, everything, plus she did not even try to refute the lie’s being told by opposing council in court. She seemed more concerned with my ex-wife’s quality of life than mine. She refused to pursue various documents that were intentionally omitted by opposing council throughout the 18 months she handled my case. Her final refusal to compel my ex-wife and/or her attorney to produce the wife’s payment information from a recent award of Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI). Her focus was strictly on the denial of Social Security Income (SSI) vice the award of Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and her monthly income from that award. Ms. Tomshinsky’s services were terminated because of numerous oversites on her part. After 18 months, now I must find a new attorney of which I did, and we reached an agreement within weeks of being hired. My new attorney advised me that I was grossly over charged for Ms. Tomshinsky’s services and recommended writing her a letter asking for a full review & explanation, which was mailed via Certified Return Receipt w/ signature in October 2021, she has yet to respond. A final review of her billable hours was nearly doubled that of my ex-wife’s attorney.

Sabina is professional and personable. She was hired to handle a time sensitive legal issue, which she accomplished very quickly. Thank you Sabina for all you do!
