I worked with Mr. Hoverson for a chapter 7 bankruptcy back in 2015-2016 and he really made me feel better about an incredibly scary and stressful situation. I was about to have a baby and already stressed out, it was such a huge weight off my shoulders to be able to tell debt collectors to call someone else. Plus he was able to take my case and wait for me to come up with the retainer later before filing with the courts. Understanding the situation, being a young, broke, first time mom-to-be charging daily necessities and groceries to credit cards, I had no money and had to wait for my tax return. I was terrified what would happen to my credit profile and while it obviously did take a hit, he assured me it's not as difficult to build it back up with responsible credit usage afterwards and he was right. It only took a couple of years with a credit builder card to bounce back to a respectable number and while some lenders still don't like it, most are understanding. Almost 8 years on, it has been removed from my report with 1 out of the 3 credit bureaus and will fall off the other two in the next couple of years and my credit is pretty good now. He made sure I was able to keep my car and without all that debt weighing me down, I was able to buy my first house last year.
