Ivy J. Gardner - Attorney At LAW

I don't even know if one is even right for what Ivy did to me. I hired her for my attorney for a divorce and custody battle it's been going on for 3 years and I am still in the same spot I was when I hired her. She doesn't return my calls, emails, or anything after I paid her in full thousands of dollars.

My husband and I had a probate consultation with Ms. Gardner over 3 months ago on a friend's recommendation. Ms. Gardner came across as quite knowledgeable and professional at that time. Sadly, Ms. Gardner has not started the work she was contracted for, nor has she responded to numerous calls to her office. Based upon my personal knowledge, as well as her many poor reviews, I'd say it's a safe bet NOT to use this lawyer.

So I’m changing my review. Which I’m so happy about. I’ve done some digging and I guess the court system has just been moving slow and the amount of time has not been Ivy’s fault, I didn’t realize how much was actually happening in Crossville now. So as far as everything else. I have nothing to complain about. I don’t like giving bad reviews so I’m glad I’m able to honestly change this.

Ivy was so unprofessional in court. She didn't look or act like a lawyer. She flat out lied and said we cursed and chased her client at high rate of speed and threatened us with a restraining order. We didn't even come within 30 feet of her or her client and we did not follow or curse at anyone. I would never recommend her as lawyer.

Absolute WORST lawyer ever. Was told the case was time sensitive and we did everything asked but Over 7 months and 5 thousand dollars later. No court date, no updates, not one paper filed. Can never get in to see the lawyer and now that we ask for the retainer back we're being told it's non refundable. This lawyer is a thief and I probably just lost my daughter because of her incompetence. Definitely did report her to the board of responsibility and if anyone else had similar experience should definitely do the same .
