I highly recommend Lauren Leader as she exhibited complete professionalism and dedication in my situation. In my lifetime thus far, the most difficult and terrifying thing I have ever been through is a family law case involving my ex and custody of our children. I cannot more highly recommend Lauren Leader as an attorney. After avoiding conflict at all costs through my divorce, eventually it became an inevitability with my high conflict ex in a custody dispute brought on by pandemic related job loss. Lauren is the first attorney that I have ever spoken with that I felt was truly empathetic to my cause and not just performing her job, which she also does exceptionally well! After going through a pandemic, many of us are confronting mental illness in ways we never imagined before, and Lauren's advise was always direct but informed by the knowledge of how dramatically legal decisions can effect the entire family unit. I feel like she advised me from the point of view of someone that truly wanted to help my family, not just win our case. That is not only a sign of a great lawyer but a sign that she is a truly decent human being in a field where that trait can seem scarce. I wish all lawyers, and all people for that matter, could possess the kind of empathy that she possesses in spades.
I am grateful for Haley White and her team at JMD - I could not have gotten through my separation so quickly and successfully without her tenacity and support.
