I am very disappointed and upset with John T.Floyd I don’t recommend him to anyone I made the biggest mistake going with this company he is a crook and a liar! So long story short I made an agreement with him to represent my brother for $10k and I gave him $5k upfront because I didn’t have the full amount yet. My mother and I told him ,if he could go and visit my brother so he could tell him what he’s going to do for him in his case. and he told us he was going to visit with my brother who was in federal dentition center in downtown which is literally about 10-15min from his office just to talk a little bit about his case and he did. when we were done with the meeting he specifically told us “I’m not going to start with his case until we have the full 10k” and I said ok please give me some time so I can come up with the rest of the money and he told me no problem. Well about a month passes and I call him saying I can’t come up with the other $5k and I asked him for a refund and I told him I understand you visited my brother one time just take your fee out of the $5k I gave you and he told me it doesn’t work that way that he usually charges $5k for just a visit and he could sue me for breaking a contract that was never started. I kept calling his office for my invoice that he promised to send me to my email and i still haven’t received nothing till this day. Every time i call nobody answers the phone or it will go straight to voicemail. He took $5k from my family and he doesn’t want to give me a invoice of what he did for my brother because he didn’t do anything for him except visit him once. I am going to take this to the news because he is stealing from innocent people who is looking for help. I have 4 kids and I’m the only one who works in my household I am living paycheck to paycheck trying to survive especially with this pandemic. Please if anybody could help me with this situation on what i could do I would greatly appreciate it thanks.
