Joseph R. Landusky II

I strongly advise against using this attorney. My partner retained Mr. Landusky to represent him in court. Months went by with no contact from the attorney, we finally had to call him a week before trial, and upon meeting with him it was clear that he was not prepared for trial which was just days away. He had been furnished with a large case file full of discovery including witness statements and sworn depositions, by the previous attorney that had to leave the case for health reasons. He didn't listen to us when we tried to speak, instead he just got loud and talked over us. We also learned that he was a personal acquaintance of the judge on this case. At the final hearing he actually screamed at me and used curse words, calling me names in the client room. After the case was concluded he refused to provide an itemized bill for services or a refund of the remaining retainer.

If it’s not high profile and dramatic it’s not worth his time no matter how much money you pay. The meeting started out great, telling you everything you want to heard and even agree to what you need and are looking for but the results proved to be the complete opposite and devastating. Our time and money was wasted, contact/visits minimal, personal and case information was given out to random individuals and other colleagues in the field. Our interactions were disorganized, not helpful or informative, and cooperative with the prosecution just to get us out the way and pocket the funds. In fact no actual work was really done in the year retained. I even had to battle for our refund back! Not once did the evidence in our favor get used or considered. Not once was the truth being heard or told. There was no fight and the expectation giving was “I’ve done this for years so I can’t be wrong”. The number of unapproved continuances and disregard of the 6th amendment right was disgraceful. Complete disregard to the life of his client and those effected. 0 stars

Mr. Landusky is one of a kind. If he can't help you, he'll tell you straight up, "I'm not gonna take your money!". He's an amazing lawyer. He will always be my family's lawyer if we need him!
