Josh Schaffer, Pllc

My mother-in-law, who is in prision right now, hired Josh Schaffer to work on her appeal. I am not sure all the details on the case nor how Josh Schaffer was aquired as I understand it was through a cousin of my mother-in-law, but I do know he has been “working on her case” for years now and has broken promise after promise to contact her, visit her, and write her in the past few years. She has not heard from Josh in at least 2-3 years. About 2-3 weeks ago, after tons of family memebers calling Josh’s office leaving messages because he is never in his office, Josh’s office communicated to my mother in law stating he would be there to visit her on a specific date. Again, Josh has never showed up. My intentions are not to bash Josh nor make him look bad. I only want a phone call! This is the purpose of this review for the time being. My hope is that Josh can at least do that.

I am a civil trial lawyer. I have known Josh since law school at UT. Over the years, I have referred friends and clients to Josh for criminal matters. He is always responsive, diligent, and has achieved great results each time.

Had made a consultation with him and that same day he took my money I gave him $5,000 cash to start. First place I should've never given him cash. He scammed me never appeared at court when my mother had court. I told him to give me my money back it was just 3 days after I had give him my money. He only gave me back half of the money $2,500.
