I found that their practices are shady. They call with a number that shows as "Scam" to deter their clients from picking up. When you call back they are hard to reach, even when leaving a message and best time to call back. So in the end they just deny your case and keep from paying cases. It shouldn't surprise you, they are a company after all. Profits kept built on the denial of those that are injured or sick on the job. Capitalism at its finest!

I am a Keenan customer w/ Anthem PPO. The Keenan customer service representatives are courteous, but the health package and reimbursement process are major pain points, I have to fax or mail my superbills to receive claims and reimbursements in this day and age instead of uploading to the portal. It's ironic that our family works in the healthcare industry but we receive poor benefits for what we pay for. Our Anthem benefits were much better before Keenan as this broker/middle person, we pay much less for our medical services as Silver PPO, and now with Keenan package, we are paying so much out of pocket before the payout. In addition, there is data breach. Overall, we are not happy with the Keenan services.

They’ve told me they were going to reimburse me for mileage to and from the doctors office, but I have a problem getting reimbursed. I need to be reimbursed to continue to go to my doctor’s appointments. The company representatives are usually courteous and helpful with making doctors appointments and medication, but in this department, I need help to resolve the issue of why I sent in the mileage claim forms & they keep telling me a check has been sent out but I never received any such check. They need to stop payment and resend it after months and still the same problem - no check for mileage. I have no problem getting any other mail and I keep verifying that it was sent to the right address. I asked if I can come pick it up or have it sent another way and no, it must be mailed.

Keenan’s employees drag their feet on getting medical help for injured workers. I hurt and I have not had one return phone call from my adjuster in six months. And now, Keenan wants to harass me because my claim is taking too long. Go figure!

If I could give zero stars, it would be a more accurate reflection of this company's service, responsiveness, and ability to handle something as important as benefits administration. Getting anything accomplished with Keenan requires multiple phone calls and lots of self advocacy. I do not understand how they remain in business.
