These are employees who get their kicks from being cruel. They have no compassion, lie, try to upset you for no reason and run you around in circles. For example, I said “your using terms I don't understand” she was talking so fast I wanted her to slow down and explain what a stipulation is, what it means only after settlement etc. She said “I'm not using any big words” this is unacceptaible behavior you do not get to tell someone what they do or do not understand. Then she talked to me like I'm an idiot for asking for clarification. DO NOT talk to Ryan under any circumstances. Especially him he truly makes it his mission to try to make things harder for you, they DO NOT want to work with you. Its almost like they don't want their money, they need to stay matter of fact, drop the attitude when someone is simply calling to resolve the issue at hand not make it more difficult. They really are cruel. It's odd and rare to truly say someone I've come across is being cruel. They are awful people. I've been a call center employee and understand stress but the way they treat someone just calling to problem solve and fix it truly abusive. Avoid contact with them as much as possible. The woman at the top of the reviews gave an excellent recommendation and I wish I could thank her personally for that advice.

Trash company but if they actually take you to court, fight it. Fill out the paperwork and pay the fees (if you can afford it). They sue you to scare you and in the end it'll end up costing you more money. ONLY COMMUNICATE with them via email. Never talk to them on the phone because you want everything in writing. Eventually write to them and tell them you want to settle and tell them you'll settle for half of what you owe and you will not be paying court fees and you want it removed from your credit after the payment is made. Don't settle for them giving you a price, so back and forth. The company that purchased for you debt paid pennies for it, they can get anything back and make a profit. AGAIN ONLY DO THIS IN WRITING. Do not trust a LAWYER and definitely don't trust these by talking to them on the phone.

These attorneys at Kohn law Firm are so desperate in their attempt to harras people they've just in this month of October 2024 refiled for a second judgment for the same unsecured credit card debt they sued for in 2023. They are for a second time suing a person named Kristi who died on July 28, 2023. I have in my possession a WI certified death certificate as well as Kristis cremated remains. In as much as I was not listed on either filing of the judgment's, this frivolous refiling of an already awarded judgment againist my dead wife Kristi, angers me. When I made contact with the firm on the 25th of October 2024, it was clear to me these people don't care about anything more than trying to collect money, even if it means suing a dead person. I emailed the attorney of record for the new filing whose name I found on CCAP WI. I told him in the email I sent, Kristi has died. I doubt they care. It's not their business to care. It's their business to hurt people.

My first phone call and experience with "Joe" was rude and abrasive, cutting off my sentences. As a customer trying to resolve an issue, it was uncalled for and disrespectful. Truly, there was no reason for the rudeness.

I have been making payments every month on a payment plan got a letter to set up a new one and they started a garnishment on my wages when I called never was late on my first payment plan they are crooked SOBS!!!! I will be filing bankruptcy because of it my wages won’t be enough to live off of my paycheck now!
