Shawn was recommended to us by a family member and we had a wonderful experience. We found ourselves in an urgent situation out in California where we needed some important questions answered. We live out of state and needed someone quickly. He agreed to talk with us with very little notice and answered questions regarding our situation. Derek reviewed a partnership agreement for me and provided constructive feedback. For example, a couple of areas in the contract provided protections for the other party, and Derek helped adjust the language so that my business was protected. Working with someone like Dereck when reviewing contracts is helpful because there are a lot of details that don't stand out to the average business owner.

Thanks to Mr. Derek Decker, the issue I had with regards to my employment issue was resolved satisfactorily. I was referred to Mr. Decker's Office via an attorney on Legal Zoom who gave no chance whatsoever in reaching a satisfactory result in my favor. I reached out with the same background information and documents to Mr. Decker. He came back to me in a very short time frame. I was really impressed with his thorough preparation in terms of understanding the parties involved, the players involved, and he had clarity with respect to the dispute itself. He advised and wrote a concise and to-the-point letter to the party involved to respond. He was very persistent in getting hold of the parties involved considering the urgency of the situation. Finally at the last moment, we did receive a resolution in my favor. If you want to be represented by a good, strong and frank attorney, you wouldn't be disappointed with his services. I cannot thank him enough and I am glad that I made the right choice in choosing his services for representing me. It was great working with him. Update to my review posted below: They reached out to me and apologized, indicating regret that my case somehow fell through the cracks. Shawn and his associate, Alexandria, then met with me and went over and beyond the call of duty to make sure all my questions were answered and concerns were addressed, offering future assistance if needed. Everyone deserves a chance to make it right, and they did just that. ****************************************************************** I was referred to Shawn Krogh via California Lawyers for the Arts. My initial consultation with him was very helpful. He indicated that if I needed more help to let him know. Since my situation had changed, I needed to consult with him again, so I emailed him but received no response. So I contacted his office and spoke with José, who said he would let him know. I never heard back. Approximately a week or two later, I contacted them again. This time, the assistant was a young lady who said I was not in the system, but that she would let him know and he would get back to me within a few days. No response. I tried a third time the following week and spoke with a gentleman (not José) who said, too, that I was not in the system and that he would let Shawn know. Again, no response. Wow. Really disappointing. I'll look elsewhere!
