Stephen is a poor negotiator and an even worse advisor. He negotiated my mediation. We had about an hour of prep-work together prior to the mediation, which caused both he and I to be woefully underprepared. He had zero familiarity with the four boxes of financial information i had provided weeks prior. He had me me scrambling through the boxes during a break to try to find the paperwork validating my inheritance. The only reason i didn't lose it was because my ex had the decency to acknowledge it was an inheritance. After all was said and done, he failed to inform me that i wasn't required to accept the mediation, but could still chose to go to court. Oops! Not to mention he permitted a retired feminist judge to hear our mediation. I was dead from the time we walked in the room. You can say I'm just sour grapes because i didn't like the outcome of my divorce settlement, but that doesn't change the fact that he was poorly prepared, a poor advisor, and he didn't screen my mediator. Poorly excuted all around. Find another lawyer.
A-1. Top notch. Worth every penny. I am a conservative Catholic. I don't believe in divorce. I believe that marriage is a permanent sacrament. So, when my wife filed for divorce, I was devastated, I felt lost. My therapist recommended Mr. Krohn. He guided me through the whole process to a successful legal and financial resolution. He helped me to see things realistically. At first, his fees seemed high, but in the long run, he was SO worth it. I am grateful for Stephen Krohn.
From the first time I called Mr. Krohn's office and spoke to Carol, to the hearing I had yesterday, Mr. Krohn and his staff have not disappointed. Communication, integrity, diligence, objectivity, patience, preparation, skill, and experience- I give them all 5 stars. Mr. Krohn helped me stay focused during my hearing. Once Mr. Krohn began litigating I felt at ease and increasingly secure with the situation. My advice is this: do not let the opposing party hire him before you.
