I have worked with over a dozen different attorneys in several states. I had a case that had been lingering for over four years...I had two different law firms working on the case and neither could bring it home. With two weeks to go before trial, I met Ben Childs and I KNEW this was the guy I should have hired first. Emailed him all the information for my disabled Uncle issues. He replied with when can you come. Got there no handicapp accessable spaces at all. Steps were broken to get in the back. Hall way filled.with trash cans and boxes. Once we got into his office, he had no knowledge of what we were there for nor cared. Spoke to me like I'm the professional lawyer that went to school. Asking me the law and if I knew opinions. I replied we are here for your advice and if you did have any why did you ask us to come down here. Could not get out of his office with wheel chair as there was not enough room to turn around. He then trapped us in the back of the office where I had to threaten the police if he did not let us out. Then he grabbed my arm trying to pull me.forward cause me.him and the wheel chair would not fit sideways. I asked him to take his hands off of me and managed to unlock the door myself. The most awful place ever. Who does that who has a disabled person come 30 minutes for you to talk down to them when they are there to ask for help. Disrespected so many time for what reason. It's as simple as replying to my email saying I don't handle matters like that. No wonder his office is a disaster it reflect him as an attorney.

I called several real estate attorneys and Benjamin was the only person knowledgeable to confirm this fact. He saved my house from foreclosure and a costly lawsuit. He didn't charge me for any consultations and gave hours of his time in research and advice. I hired him for a loan modification which was eventually signed by my mortgage lender. He robbed me, a single mother. Took my money and then quit the first day of court in front of the judge so he wouldn’t have to pay me back. I reported him to the bar association and they did nothing. Steer clear of this crook. He is a horrible person, made me pay for his coffee when we first met too. Didn’t know anything about family law, I did a better job representing myself after he stole my money and embarrassed me.
