I would give zero stars if I could. Probably the worst experience I’ve had with any services, and I’ve had some very awful experiences. We were given his name off a list from my husband’s employer who offered a 25% discount. Of course the 1st visit before payment went well and he honored the discount mentioned. Once he receive half of our payment the problems began. He was very late ( sometimes days) in his responses and we he did finally respond it was all communicated via text message never on the phone.I find this very unprofessional especially from an expensive Lawyer. When he asked for the rest of our payment he tried to quote us a much higher price then what was agreed upon. When I brought to his attention the original agreement be became very defensive and rude( Again all of this was via text message). Mr.McMahan asked me to gather documents for him that we paid him to do. It was just a matter of going to public records. On our court date I found him very unprofessional in front of the Judge and he was lost for words. He struggled even remembering the names involved. It took over 8 months for us to finalize our case, the longest and very anxious 8 months of my life. We were convinced it would never get resolved but we continued to keep him accountable. Mr. McMahan seemed very insensitive to this very important decision we were trusting him with. Overall I don’t find his services acceptable. Honestly, as a human being he is disloyal, dishonest, and has no trusting character. I would not recommended him to my worst enemy.

Do not even waste your time contacting him. I let him know I couldn’t make first initial consultation and let him know I would get back to him when I had an available time. He didn’t even care to try to let me give him another time to meet. He told me he suggested I find another attorney. Totally unprofessional and glad I didn’t retain him!! Doesn’t care for potential clients whatsoever !!!!

After lying about a "gentleman's agreement" and trying to double my fees against the actual agreement we had and then firing me as a client, I haven't seen or talked to my children for over 3 years thanks to the very poor work done by Brian P McMahon. I would give 0 stars if possible, and don't recommend this person to anyone seeking legal assistance.
