I am a State Bar Certified Family Law Specialist with over 35 years experience representing thousands of clients in a wide range of family law matters. Although I have tried cases all over the state of California, my primary practice has been in Sacramento with a great number of governmental employees as clients. As such, I am especially familiar with the division of defined benefit retirement plans such as PERS and STRS. I represent clients seeking legal assistance with adoptions, child custody and visitation, child and spousal support, divorce, annulment, domestic violence,property division and enforcement of decrees.
My hourly rate is $250.00 per hour. I would require a retainer payment of $750 to $2,500 before commencing legal services. The retainer or portion is refundable if not used. I bill against the retainer on an hourly basis. I accept credit cards for my services. All filing fees and court costs must be paid by the client.

I also represented a husband and father who had been arrested for spousal abuse and had only supervised visitation. When we completed the case, he had a full one half shared custody, the family home and one half of all the property.
I represented a woman who lived with her husband for 22 years with a subsequent marriage of only 18 months before they separated. Her husband received a two million dollar civil settlement during the time they were living together. Under California law, she was entitled to none of the settlement and only 9 months of spousal support. After my office was retained, we settled the case with my client receiving hundreds of thousands of dollars from her husband.

He was the worst lawyer I have ever had. He is a nice person but he never sent me regular updates of my case despite repeated requests nor did he provide me with full copies of documents he received related to my case. My separated spouse and his lawyer are threatening me with civil fines in the divorce case due to his incompetent representation. Please do not see this person!
If i could give no stars i would!!… Please DONT go to this so called “lawyer” he did not help me at all with my case. He doesn’t answer my calls, texts, or emails. The last call he took from me, which i had to call from another number because he was not answering me, he stated he was over whelmed with cases… well buddy maybe you shouldn’t take peoples money and say your going to help them, be honest with your clients and say no you cant take our case. This man is money hungry and only accepts your money without doing anything on his end.
