Over the course of 7 years and this being the 6th filing by my children's mother. And Derek Austin being the 5th Attorney I had hired. NONE of my previous experiences had been like this one. Let me put very simple.... Thanks to the dedication of this firm, I have now not seen or talked to my children for almost two years. As though the whole family court experience isn't enough, you add a firm that charges you $3,819.00 to appear to 1 court hearing that was no longer than a total of 30 min. Only to send you back a check of $1081.00 of your $5,000 (cost of retainer). To never do ANYTHING as little as a phone call to do an update check. I firmly suggest you stay away from this firm.

Terrible experience with this firm and attorney Derek Austin. They will over complicate your case and make expensive suggestions to the Court to draw out the case without consulting their clients. My "simple" case (their words not mine) quickly became complicated and cost me $10,000.00 for maybe 3 court appearances. After 6 months, despite being assured the initial $7,500.00 deposit would be enough to finish my divorce (which had already been started and only needed a new MSA and a few other documents), I am still not divorced and had to pay them more money as they had burned through the initial deposit. Don't waste your money, save yourself the headache and disappointment.
