Their Claims Adjuster, Renee Hester, lied to my doctor, saying that there was no proof that I was exposed to respirable crystalline silica. She wrote a letter to the doctor stating this the day after I told her that the MSDSs that I ordered from our suppliers indeed said that I was exposed. I'm sick from the exposure, and my life will be shortened from the exposure. They stopped my benefits, and they prevented me from being present at the air-monitoring test conducted by OSHA. I have been fighting with State Compensation Insurance Fund for ten months to get my benefits back, because Renee Hester stopped my benefits in response to my confrontation on their lie to my doctors and to OSHA. I have PTSD, OCD, motor/vocal tics so large I run into walls if I'm too close. I have been left with nothing and no way to get all the medicine and proper healing foods that I need. Don't use SCIF unless you want to be sick and thrown away. They somehow deleted my last post to this same effect.

NO more in person services... Went to deliver very important docs and security man refused to receive them because he didn't "know" the attorneys listed on it... And he didn't "recognized" my forms... Since when a security person is trained to analyze and receive or reject legal documents.

State Fund is also EXTREMELY well run and offers tools, tips, and exceptional customer service. They go above and beyond. Recently, they offered grants to companies to help implement COVID-19 safety protocols and to purchase supplies. They sent out numerous emails regarding the grants, which I ignored because I did not think our company would qualify. When I received yet another email stating it was the last chance to apply and that there was still a large amount of money to be awarded, I decided to check into it. I spoke with Robert who was helpful, personable, and professional. I got off the phone feeling like State Fund is more than just a corporation. They are a group of people that care about others. A couple weeks after that phone call, we received a check in the mail! I can't say enough about State Fund. Thank you for being there and for allowing us to continue doing what we love to do!

Secure site. Security needed all the time. Very high risk for breached access, but won't deter away from keeping of funds.

It's my place of employment. I've worked there for over 25 years. I'm going to retire May 10, 2019.
