Law Office Of George J. Kokorelis

I hate to do this but I have to be honest. This is the biggest waste of money I've ever spent in my entire life! I dealt with George for about a year-and-a-half throughout my divorce and custody battles. Spent over $8,000 with him. So here's a little of the story... I think he's getting a little old. My second time ever walking in his office, after he sold me and I paid him $1,200, he said "nice to meet you" smh. I should have known then... You try to explain things to him and he's off in another world... He doesn't hear anything you say. Back and forth to court more than six times we did nothing but make plea deals so I never got to see him in action. I always had a fear of going into court and how he would do. My fear finally became real our last court date for custody and I knew we would have to fight and we couldn't take plea deal. in court he's looking around for paperwork that he was supposed to file and never filed. Needless to say because we didn't file that paperwork I could not plead the side of MY case... All my evidence, recommendation letters, etc. couldn't be used I guess. Or maybe he just forgot to pull them out!! during court he also told the judge "your honor I'm sorry I've only been on the case for 6 months" whenever he would get caught up and didn't know an answer to a question....I would look at him so confused knowing that I've been paying him for over a year and a half... Everybody else knew that as well. My ex-wife and her lawyer wood look over at us in disbelief... All my nightmares were coming true. this dude has absolutely no idea how to be a lawyer anymore. I truly believe that he has good intentions but he will cause you an embarrassing nightmare in the courtroom.. while everybody's laughing at you you're going to realize how much money you wasted. I should have known all this and stopped when I heard that he actually told my ex-wife's lawyer that I was "easy money!" My ex-wife told me that during a supervised visitation with her. That's the only part that I don't know to be factual. Once again I believe that he has somewhat good intentions but he has to retire because he has other people's lives on the line. Find somewhere else to go!!
