Law Office of Maciel & Associates, APC

My family trusted this law firm of his with $8,000 and from one day to the next, he was gone!! Money was never used towards the immigration process as they still needed to pay more money to even start the process. My family is devastated because they are left to pay loans they took out to pay this attorney. The worst thing of all is he hasn't even tried to return the money he took from his customers! He literally left and took all of his customers money with him! We need him to give us back our money. Many of his customers were crying when they were forced to go pick up their files because he vanished. The lawyers that are his friends and were there to "help" were quite rude too. It is a terrible situation!

We trusted this attorney not only was he paid in full for his services & to represent us. Immigration ended up picking up my husband ICE straight forward told us my husband case was close months ago and told him to his face he was robbing us. This attorney was still representing us he never mentioned it was closed he continued collecting our money meanwhile the case was not open, ligitimently scammed us. I picked up our file to get secondary legal opinions since I was suspecting he wasnt doing anything and I was told from other attorney he robbed us for taking a case like ours and Now hes mia. I was told from someone in his office he won’t be handling our case and won’t be representing us any longer on his own terms. I never signed any documents stating we didn’t want him to continue handling our case and finish what he was paid for. I was told to file a complaint to the bar association this is fraud and all the money he was paid for. Saddened and Heartbreaking we trusted someone like him to help us and took advantage of the situation when he new from the begining there was nothing to be done. Know I see there’s other victims shame on him.

The main lawyer Maciel lost his marbles. He supposedly got somthing bad in his head. He didn't show up to our appointment he said he was robbed him. Didnt sound believable. THIS PLACE IS CLOSING BECAUSE MAIN LAWYER WENT M.I.A!!!

Trusted him, paid him in full and my case is half way done. Now I have to pick up the pieces myself and repay fees that he let expire to continue with my case. Very Frusturating that you never know who to trust! Heard he is now in jail. Shame on you Roberto Maciel.
