I only saw aggressiveness in Tom when he sold me that I needed him as my lawyer and he got me to sign a contract with him. Before hiring him, he said that he found some precedence he could work with and use to defend me and possibly get the case tossed and said that I had a reasonable case worth fighting. A few weeks later..after the balance of his fees were paid.... he informed me that I didn't have a case that could win and simply recommended accepting the DA's plea offer. He turned out to be simply a very expensive paper pusher. I estimate that I paid him 5500 dollars for about 3 hours of work for his staff and 2 hours of his time ($1,100/hour) to fill out and file paperwork. In the end, in my opinion, he didn't fight for me aggressively at all. Tom didn't even try to reduce any of any of the penalties...nadda.... I got a standard sentence that I would have got if I had simply pleaded guilty from the outset. I could have found a lawyer for half the cost for all that Tom did for me. Or....I could have gone it alone ... and get the same sentence. I could use some of that 5500 dollars to pay for fines, probation, etc.... and still have money left over in the end. Don't be fooled by his sales tactics... don't hire this guy.

Amazing job...would definitely recommend...had my relative's charges and penalties reduced to lowest possible levels, and records can be sealed (which other attorneys thought would not be possible)...
