This Georgia lawmaker acts as the City Attorney for the City of Sandy Springs and has authorized the use of eminent domain to take several private owner's land against their will so that the City of Sandy Springs might build more parking lots. When I emailed this public servant, and reminded him that he was paid by the citizens of Sandy Springs he informed me that he didn't represent the citizens of Sandy Springs in his capacity and flat out refused my questions on who authorized the use of eminent domain in Sandy Springs. Mr. Willard's attitude is one of condescension and disrespect for the people that pay his salary in both the City Attorney for Sandy Springs role as well as the Georgia Legislature role and his attitude and complete disrespect toward Sandy Spring's land owners is reprehensible. Please vote in the next election to remove this lifelong politician who simply produces the status quo and will give us all more of the same disdain that he has already bestowed on our city and state.
