seems , in my opinion, that they only want to take the easy cases.. i had a cataract surgery where the doctor ingnored all my telling him that i was not drugged and was in pain. instead, he rammed the things into my eye that keep the eyelids open during surgery. completely unethical, completely non professional..all in his rush to cram in as many surgeries in a day and make the most money... but what proof is there except the witnesses who were there?. I contacted Clifford, told them the story. Clifford said they would take the case, i tried to get the records, knowing that the pictures would not show what actually happened during the surgery. I told Clifford this too, and they assured me that it would be done with depositions. Six months after getting the records, and most likely realizing it was not going to be just an easy one and they would have to get statements from witnesses , they told me they were not going to do it. So i am left half blind in my right eye and the company i hear advertised as "The best lawyers in america" (or something along those lines) on the radio all the time, wimps out. Meanwhile, the doctor who did this to me goes on his merry way. And vision in my right eye is messed up possibly for the rest of my life. if i sound like I'm unhappy and that i was not helped it is because i am. their intake person was really nice though. Grace i think was her name. Very friendly and empathetic to my situation.
