Erik is knowledgeable, experienced, a veteran and he simply "gets it done." What I like most about Erik, beyond his expertise is his quiet, thoughtful, no nonsense demeanor. Hired him for a case where for the most part, he immediately knew what game plan to pursue. There was an interesting twist that was a bit uncommon, and much to my surprise, within 48 hours he consulted with a few experts in this highly unusual area and conferred the best strategy which he discussed with me and we agreed to follow. After a few months our patience paid off with results that far exceeded what we thought to be the best outcome. I hope I never need his service, but if I do, I know who my first call will be to. Saved my butt big time, I'm a fan.

I contacted Mr. Johnson with an issue that was very concerning. I initially left him a message (as I did with many other attorneys which none of whom called me back at all!) Not only did Mr. Johnson call me back that same morning I left him a message, but he offered me a consultation within 24-48 hours and I got in to see him right away. Now I have had my dealings with lawyers in everything from family court, criminal court, and juvenile court in the past. I've spoke with many, including the ones I ended up hiring, the public defenders I worked with when I had no money to hire one, and have had consultations of many different kinds along the way. This attorney cuts right to the chase, gives you his honest opinion with logic, and clarifies even some of the crooked/incorrect information that may have been given to you. I walked in there an emotional wreck after explaining my situation. My consultation took less than time he allotted me, he answered all avenues of every question I had, and I walked out there feeling like I might actually get to sleep for the first time in 48 hours. His office is very easy to find, the parking wasn't a huge problem for me (he's located downtown San Jose with street parking only) but it is limited so be cautious where you choose to park to avoid a ticket/tow. Mr. Johnson was professional, incredibly gracious with giving me his time and opinion based on what information I gave him, and I would highly, highly recommend him for anyone in need of a lawyer with his background. I know I certainly will go to him again if I need to! The only reason I did not hire him is because he recommended no lawyer is necessary.
