Reviews

If I could write a separate review for the New England School of Art and Design, I absolutely would but it is not offered on here, therefore my score meets the two schools in the middle. New England School of Art and Design (FIVE STARS!)- This school and its teachers are unbelievable. I do not think I could have earned a better education anywhere else. I absolutely loved my professors and was extremely proud of the work that I accomplished while attending this school. I could not draw to save my life prior to attending NESAD however I actually draw and paint now because not only do I enjoy it, but it helps with my confidence. To me, NESAD was so much more than an education and will forever hold a special place in my heart. Suffolk University (One Star)- Minus the Science and English departments, the general education classes and teachers could not have been worse. Granted, I graduated in 2009 however I have spoken with a few current students and it seems this is still an issue. I have always excelled in Math and received a C+ when I have never in my life earned anything lower than a B+ in the subject, due to the fact that the Math teacher was horrendous. My high school education was far superior to the general education classes I took at Suffolk. My suggestion would be, if you wish to attend the business, law or design school, to attend a community college for all of your general education classes and transfer in. The business, law and design school cannot be beat however it is not worth it to waste your time and money on classes that will add no value to your education.

They give me full scholarship for my Finance Master! though i have to work part time 600+ hour/year for them. Well, It's not a bad deal :D I enjoy learning here. There is a huge problem with this school is its "alumni network". I know alot of successful Suffolk Alumni, but for some reason they don't go back to help the next student generation. Want a better school? improve your alumni network Suffolk. Plzzzzz!!

My son's a full time student and loves the college and city. State's it easy to get anywhere in the city and safe. And the classes are great and his professor's are very helpful and on point!!

I wish Suffolk supported graduates during their repayment process as quickly as they enroll you in school and take your money. Great to find you loans, poor to support and inform you on how to pay those back.

Met all my needs-I wanted small private school in the city (a good location of the city) and I wanted it to have a good law school. Bingo! Small class size, the Professors were fine (I've taken classes at Harvard with harvard professors-same par. Period! Except for that one really arrogant Harvard Professor-whose class I walked out of but I digress. The Suffolk community is helpful. its surrounded by State house and Beacon Hill, Public Gardens. Just a short walk to Gvt Center and the North End/Newbury Street. I had a great internhship at the Attorney General's office, I worked at the Boston bar Association. I was on the Debate Team (SU has always turned out really good Debaters-I'm talking CEDA I dont know if they only do Lincoln Douglas now. Very pleasnt surroundings. Your next job or your first job can be in walking distance of the school. Overall, loved loved my experience here. By the way-all the best restuarants and bars surround this school and it is in a very safe neighborhood.
