My husband and I are one of the many unfortunates that had to file for bankruptcy with auto payments and is now discharged. The initial process went smoothly however, we only saw Mr. Hyams once during the entire process. We found out through our own investigation that the last payment was not made and was due to the payment schedule set up by the attorney. As a result it is a black mark on our record as a "late payment". This is so wrong! To bad attorneys can't admit and acknowledge when they make a mistake and it costs the debtor.
