Can not get these lawyers to respond back. Court case has been going on for 2 years. Hasn’t represented me properly during any session. Will not ask judge to hold other parent accountable when they break the current court order. Does not take court orders seriously and says that I shouldn’t worry about the other party following it, that only I should follow it to a T or I will be punished and not the other party. Have sent several emails within the month of December 2022 and it is January 19, 2023 and I have not heard anything back. They have several emails from the other party’s lawyer that they are not communicating with me and then they tell the other parties lawyer and the judge that I’m being difficult or not filling out paper work, all while I’m not being notified about it or they will not turn in what paper work I have filled out and it has resulted in the other party has gained more time.

Absolute crook. Took my friends 4k and did absolutely nothing. Which inturn allowed for her ex to fraudently get custody of her children. Now she hasn't been allowed to see or speak to them in almost 2 years. Man should have his law license permanently revoked.

I don’t generally leave reviews but feel compelled to say that there is no one else with Bryan Smith’s level of expertise in so many areas of law in the Wilmington area. Prior to moving to the Wilmington area he worked in the District Attorney’s office in another county here in NC…..I worked for the Sheriff’s Dept. in the same county. I believe this is one of many reasons he is so skilled at positioning his clients very successfully no matter their particular need. He handled my litigation with such professionalism, integrity and objectivity that I have recommended him to family and friends in need of representation……and they have been equally impressed. Wow is all I can say. I was using another attorney for some traffic violations which resulted in a suspended license and that attorney strung me along for months getting things continued but not taking care of the problem. So at the advice of friends I hired Bryan and it was the best decision I ever made. Long story short within 3 to 4 months of hiring Bryan I got my license back and all the old charges dismissed. I can't believe how quickly and efficiently Bryan took care of the matter in just months, when the other attorney couldn't get it done in a year and a half.Bryan was very honest and communicated with me every step of the way. He didn't charge me an hourly rate and he didn't charge me for things that he never did, he gave me a lump sum and worked with me to make payments.
