I would not use this attorney. Terrible.... I did all of the work to settle our family Estate and she had the audacity to charge us for doing nothing and when we complained she filed a suit against us, using her law license underhandedly. We paid her. The only thing she did was put an ad or two in the legal journals advertising the Estate. Aside from that she did nothing. I prepared and filed all of the documents needed to close the estate. We should have filed a complaint with the Allegheny County Bar Disciplinary Board. Do Not hire or trust Meg. There are better choices. I would prefer not to even give one star...

I've gone to Meg a few times for help with legal matters, and each time she was extremely helpful, professional, and worked with me to resolve each issue promptly, and in my favor. She was very responsive and was able to explain my options in layman's terms--I felt I had, and understood, all the information I needed to make the right decisions and I felt she was really in my corner. She's proven to me that she's one of the best attorneys out there, and I'd give her 6 stars if I could!

Attorney Meg Burkardt efficiently and economically handled the administration of my sister’s Estate. Unfortunately, there was an income tax matter that delayed the final distribution. Meg worked diligently to complete all matters. As executor of the Estate, I was very satisfied with her services.
