About Law Firm
I have a decade of experience successfully defending clients in trial and resolving cases outside of court. My career has been 100 percent dedicated to defending the rights of people who have been accused of a crime right here in the Pittsburgh area. I will walk you through the Pennsylvania legal system and lay out the options available to you under the law. You might be scared or stressed, but I can help alleviate your worries and demystify the consequences.
What sets me apart from other defense lawyers? I will never convince you to take a plea or settle if you want a trial. When you’re a client, we’re a team. I help you understand the options so you can make the best decision for your situation. If you want a trial, I will fight for you. Other attorneys might try to discourage trial because it can be anxiety-inducing or costly for them. I care most about the best possible outcome so you can move on with your life.

Notable Work
Commonwealth v. J.C.
Practice Area: Criminal defense
Date: Jan 18, 2011
Outcome: Not Guilty on all Counts
Description: J.C. was charged with his second DUI. J.C. was facing a 90 day mandatory sentence if convicted. The Commonwealth agreed to let him serve it outside of jail if he would plead guilty. J.C. did not want to plead guilty and we proceeded to trial by jury.
Commonwealth v. P.L.
Practice Area: Criminal defense
Date: Apr 04, 2011
Outcome: Not Guilty on all Counts
Description: P.L. was accused of mailing 18 pounds of Marijuana to himself from out of state. P.L. was observed by law enforcement actually receiving the package from mail delivery personnel. P.L. was facing a mandatory 3-6 years if convicted. P.L. maintained his innocence and even refused a plea deal ensuring that he would not spend a day in jail! Reviews

Samir and team are diligent, hard working and responsive! He and his team are professional and understand how to work effectively through the judicial system, but also how to relay information in a concise and timely manner to their clients. Couldn’t recommend more!
Samir Sarna provided us with excellent and completely successful representation. He was professional, compassionate, well-prepared, responsive to communications, and clearly respected by the judge, court personnel, and the opposition. Also, his fee was very reasonable, especially considering the time he spent on our case. I am a retired trial attorney myself, and would not hesitate to place my fate in Mr. Sarna’s capable hands.
Our whole world was turned upside down in December 2023 with my son facing Murder in the 1st degree after an attack in a local establishment. Attorney Mike Worgul fought hard for my son at the preliminary hearing as well as during the bench trial. My Son was found not guilty and was acquitted of all charges on a self defense claim. He kept us informed and was very knowledgeable. He's a beast in the courtroom. He worked with us on a fair pricing and overall eased our minds during a very difficult time. My son is now a free man after 6 long months of hell. I HIGHLY recommend Mike and his firm if you are in need! We can't thank you enough Mike!
Samir sarna is Best lawyer in the burgh! Help me out of multiple tickets with ease! Happy customer that gets to keep his license! Hopefully wont need him again but will definitely always have my business! If you need a good lawyer contact them!
They charged me $1500 and sent an inexperienced attorney with me to a preliminary hearing and he did a sad job. I’d of been better off with a public defender. Just for when Mike comes to respond to my review and try to justify their actions, my last name is Fant and my hearing was 02/23/2024. The attorney they sent me with was so inexperienced, he asked the judge if he could record the proceeding on his phone (for his own personal review) at the beginning of my hearing. He never objected as they continued to refer to an unconfirmed substance as Fentanyl, which I’ve never seen in my life. I could’ve saved my $1500 for the $50,000 bond they set that day as a result of the very poor attorney work.
