Well, we met with Sheri Breen of Law Offices Rosemarie Arnold first, and that's it. It was a done deal. She's tenacious and engaging, and we knew we weren't going to find anyone with more energy. And luckily it wasn't just for show - she got my mom a great, and quick (ten months), settlement. It was far more than either of us hoped for. It blew us away. I didn't call her at all during the ten months, and she called me twice during that time to give me updates. I can't say how responsive she'd be if you pro-actively call her for updates, but you really don't need to. I just let her do her thing and she excelled. Her paralegal Katie is top-notch. I just emailed every photo and bill to her as I got them, and she'd reply within a couple of hours. It was smooth sailing. The expenses were very low. My wife once had an attorney who got her a settlement one-quarter the size of this one, and those expenses were higher.
