Needed help with my divorce.. I was so worried & didn't know where to start. Then my grandmother recommended Benke lawfirm to me. Alex Salazar was my attorney. He made me feel comfortable & handled all my concerns with ease. He held my hand every step of the way, along with Stacy his paralegal. They both always got back to me in short amount of time & were very informative. I couldn't have gone to a better place for what seemed like the hardest time in my life. If anyone ever needs assistance this is the firm I'm recommending. :)

I contacted the Law Office of Steven Benke specifically for Jennifer White. I received a recommendation from a friend for her. I did hire Ms. White to represent me. My Ex was trying to sue me for custody of my 17 year old daughter. The custody suit never moved forward since my daughter told the judge she did not want to live with her dad that she wanted to stay with me. She was going to turn 18 in a matter of months. I continued to get bills from the office for emails phone calls they were making to the opposing counsel. I even called once to say that I was billed incorrectly because I had paid a previous balance which was not reflected in my account. I was billed the following month for that phone call I made to them about the bill being incorrect. I spoke to the office and Ms. White informing them to please stop any actions that would continue to add to more charges. The opposing counsel was not going to do anything moving forward and it was clear since they never responded to Ms. White’s contact attempts. That was communicated to me by Jennifer White as told to her by the opposing counsel’s office staff. If they needed to proceed with any further action to please let me know in advance so I would know what to expect. Well now Jennifer White is no longer with this office. I can only imagine why. Then I get a notice months later saying they were withdrawing counsel at my request. I did not request that at all. They took it to a hearing and now are charging me with the fees. The Notice of Withdrawal of Counsel had another attorney listed as my counsel. One who I did not even know or even speak with before. I simply asked to stop unnecessary charges such as phone calls and emails that were obviously being ignored by the opposing counsel. As a single mother I have explained that these recent and continuing charges were inappropriate and difficult for me to pay. I called the office and spoke to Rose. I was upset with the fact that I was not communicated with regarding all these actions and charges in advance. I communicated this was difficult for me as a single mother, especially getting this bill right before Christmas. She was not polite in her responses at all. I was told by Rose that she will send it over to billing and determine if they would send it to collections. She was not at all understanding and by making a threat to send it to collections further shows how unethical their practices are. Beware of this office and how you will be treated if you hire them.

I was super happy with the services provided by my attorney Blake. From the get go he was easy to talk to, wanted to understand the details of my case, and most importantly had empathy for my situation. Throughout the process I feel that Blake gave me great advice and I'm pleased that I had the opportunity to work with him. If you are going to use Benke Law then I highly recommend hiring Blake as your attorney.
