I had an employer CLC referral. I called and left three messages over the course of several days before receiving a return call from a receptionist. She advised it would cost $150 to speak with the attorney. I advised her I had a CLC referral and the consult was free through them. She said she would confer with the attorney. I never received a call back. I notified CLC and went with a competent attorney outside of their network.
One of the WORST divorce office all nation wide 1- you will never meet and see the Lopez attorney you will work with her trainee 2- they may take decision in your behalf without informing you 3- they COULDN'T give me 1 (one) continue for couple months BECAUSE as i said they will give your case to trainee 4- they add charges without your knowledge too 5- don’t waste your money and your time with them
James Seaver, Vanessa Lopez, and Laura Herrera handled my child custody case with grace and simplicity. I live out of state and had to handle a lot of the work on my end from afar. They made the whole process as comfortable as it can possibly be given the situation. They are communicative and do their best to avoid billing hours for work that may end up being unnecessary as the situation in court matures. I highly recommend Vanessa and her team for your child custody needs. I'm super grateful for their part in how things played out in our child custody case.
Honestly I really wish I found someone else. I had a very simple child support case and it still cost me $3000. I highly doubt she actually spent 17 hours working on my case. We didn't even go to court, we came to an agreement. And Vanessa nor her employees were much help when my case was over. You have a question? Be careful if you send an email that gets a one sentence response, it will cost you $82 for something that took 2 minutes. As a single mom, I asked if I could take partial payments and got charged $82. Overall very disappointed. I am not getting back pay like I was supposed to be and now it is all up to me to figure it out on my own. Missing out on $600 because this lady didn't pay attention to what she was doing FOR MY CHILD. Also I was never told that I should sign up for direct deposit with the child support office, I thought after paying 3 grand there would be some guidance. I was wrong. Will never recommend this office. Please go elsewhere.
