Please describe a case in the last year or two where you made a big difference.
I have had the privilege to help many families. As an attorney, mediator or guardian ad litem. In the last year I have assisted several father's obtain custody of their children. Father's who had been denied parenting time.
How did you build a successful practice?
Attention to detail. I also make sure people can meet me for free. I feel everyone should be afforded a free consultation before making such a big decision.
What should clients look for in a lawyer?
Honesty. Sometimes you will hear what you do not want to hear. An attorney who is honest may have to tell you that your case is not very good or that it has issues. If you hear everything you wanted to hear you may need to be suspicious.
How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?
I think it is important to know the court staff and the judge or at least be familiar. That can't always be the case but the attorney should ask around to other attorneys to see if that specific judge has any special requirements.

I offer 30 minutes free consultation. We can address many needs in that time frame.

If you have an open case, please have your cause number. Have any documents ready for the consultation in order to evaluate your case properly.
What differentiates you from other lawyers in your community?
I believe in community involvement. I sit on many boards and I have donated many hours of my time to assist others in my community.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?
When we assist families. Specifically, our divorce clients. I stress to them that no matter what happens when you have children with your soon to be ex-spouse, you still have to co-parent with them. You are still going to be a family, you're just a divorced one.
What are your other interests in addition to law?
Movies, theater, community service and politics.
