I was represented by. Albert Mais in a family court matter in Berrien Co. Michigan. I repeatedly asked, emailed, and even sent him a certified letter asking for my child's mental heath doctors to be subpoenaed. Not only did he not have it done, in his closing arguments mentioned that their was no psychiatrist testifying so that the court should disregard everything mentioned about her mental capabilities and understandings of the situation, but after 3 days of testimony it was too hard to unring thar bell. However every last report I have ever read from her psychiatrist was in my favor, but the court never got to hear it.

I have hired this lawyer to help me in my custody case. I have not gotten a phone call. I have not gotten an answer to my emails. I went to make my final payment twice and both time the office was closed during business hours. My lawyer didn't show up to court. Even the judge called him to get no answer. I cant leave a message on his voicemail because it's full. Judge gave him 10 days to call friend of the court to say he's representing me... Last day of that is tomorrow... He hasn't done that. I don't make a lot of money and I didn't go through hell coming up with the first half of it to not get results. Literally just my money and I haven't heard or seen him since. The office is never open no matter when I call or show up. It's a 40 min drive from my house. I don't have that kind of time and gas to waste like that. Absolutely ridiculous.
