SEVEN FULL 39s to forest hills just came through Huntington @ river way Been here for a hr and a half I have a $90 monthly pass Its 20 below freezing and i cant even get home People ride for free. Idk why I pay to just be stuck in the freezing cold in one of the busiest parts of the city Cant wait to get out of the city TRASH

Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) provides ADA paratransit services. The Ride service is provided through contract of the MBTA. The MBTA contracts out operation of "The Ride", a door to door service for people with disabilities. I received the Ride brochure. Boston is historically known for structural racism and racial segregation. According to the brochure, The Ride does not cover the following communities, Hyde Park, Dorchester, Roxbury, Mattapan or Jamaica Plain. The wait to speak with a phone representative, to set up 21 day visitor pass service was 30 minutes . Be prepared for long hold times. If the intake phone service is sub par, I shudder to think what the actual para transit service will be like.....

Of the cities I've visited in the US this has got to be the worst transit system. You can count on them to be late. The GL is always overloaded even during covid. The train line is in disrepair and they are always fixing something.

The Redline weekend of September 9-10 2023 is an absolute cluster. I could have driven into Boston, parked, ate near Fenway in the time it took to go from Quincy Adams to Kenmore. I get doing work on system as it needs to be done, but management on moving people during it is poor to put it mildly! Get new management!!!!

Efficiency -10/5 stars Punctuality -20/5 stars Customer service -10/5 stars If you enjoy traveling at a glacial pace, paying the equivalent of NYC transit with service on par to a third world country in 1892 and speaking to service agents that are basically brick walls, this may be the service for you. I also find it particularly helpful that buses are so delayed and then three come together at the same time. For a city that is easily the elite intellectual hub of the world, the poor transportation system here is one of the worst.
