I truly can't say enough GREAT things about this firm or express my gratitude to them adequately. The lawyers and staff care so much about their clients and clients' families. The settlement agreements they have successfully negotiated for our family year after year have made success possible for our children.

We were awarded a special needs trust that was assigned (without our consent) to McAndrews law firm. They charged an exorbitant amount of money to initially draw the trust up. There was a last minute stipulation to the award and McAndrews nailed us again with the same outrageous fee when they redrafted the trust. They got a great racket going on. Our trust was placed with them and they put our trust (once again without our consent) to a particular financial firm. Any time we had a problem with the trust, we tried to reach out to the lawyer who drew up the trust. 95% of the time she never returned phone calls. When she did, she was disinterested and tried to placate us with the solution, 'oh well what can you do?' Charged ridiculous amount of money, a few hundred dollars for a 4 minute phone conversation. In a few months, they nipped the trust for some $40,000. We stopped using them several months ago and to date, they collected more money from this trust then the beneficiary has. When it comes to law firms, you'll be hard pressed to find a more flim-flam, louche, unscrupulous firm than this one.

I have worked with the McAndrews firm on over 25 cases since 2014 in my role as Head of Trust Services at PLAN of PA. I cannot recommend the firm highly enough. They are professional, responsive and sensitive to their clients needs. I am surprised to hear others have had bad experiences. I have nothing but positive things to say about the attorneys and other personnel that work for McAndrews Law Offices. They are knowledgeable, patient, experienced, and well worth the money.

I interviewed several attorneys I heard were good. This one wanted the most money, many were free to consult that I called. I went here anyway because he is knowledgeable, I saw him at a seminar. So I paid out the large sum to see him, because I was impressed by the fact that they wanted my records to review before the consultation. I am so ashamed to have wasted so much money. The consultation was worse than the no charge attorneys and I have no clue why they asked for my files, I did not have the impression they were even touched. Knowing a lot and doing a lot are 2 different things. I recommend speak to people before shelling out large sums of money. I found a good lawyer referred to me by a parents advocacy organization. No charge for that consult, much better results.
