I don't think this is a viable firm any more. I have been trying to reach out via phone messages, emails and even a office visit. No response one way or another after several weeks of trying. The firm's namesake did good work for my wife and I in the (distant) past. It seems that they have tanked in the meantime. Sorry to see that.

Great team of Professionals at McCormick Law Group! I’ve been with them since 2002. Mike McCormick is not only a CPA but a lawyer who stays ahead of all the changes in tax law year to year. Jessica and her team are detail oriented and their follow through is second to none. Thank you for your guidance and friendship through the years.

Unfortunately, when I needed good, clear advice to make tax related decisions, the communications were exceptionally poor and frankly bad, leaving us in a situation where we made a massive over payment on estimated taxes based on the firm's advice. And of course we were charged for this bad advice. We were also not informed that our taxes would not be prepared on time until I asked for a status and advised to pay even more in estimated taxes to ensure we wouldn't be fined. We are not waiting for a substantial refund from the government. Better advice would have kept that money in our pockets. I do think Mike and his team does a good job preparing the returns and getting a good tax rate, but don't expect good communications or direction if needed.

Great *strategic* engagement on tax and estate planning - not just filling out and filing paperwork. Have worked with Mike and his team for several years, across a range of issues, and very happy with the outcomes. McCormick isn't inexpensive, but this is definitely a case of getting what you pay for, in a good way. Glad to have found them.

McCormick Tax Group has handled my taxes for as near as I can remember, close to 20 years. They have certainly grown in size but I know the attention is still there. I feel like the planners they provide get you organized to have everything you need to submit and have them prepare and file your returns. My problem? I am always late. It's my own darn fault. We have two small businesses and our own personal taxes, all handled and communicated well by the staff. If you are looking for an accountant, keep in mind they will give you great advice but you have to provide them with accurate accounting of everything so taxes may be properly filed.
