We hired McClanahan Law Firm on behalf of our business to help with an insurance claim that involved loss of revenue to our company due to our equipment being out of service after an accident on which the other party involved was at fault. We previously tried to reach a fair settlement with the insurance with no luck. Mr. McClanahan did an outstanding job in our case. He handled our insurance claim without having to go to court in a timely manner and collected a fair settlement from the insurance. Now the claim is closed for good, and our company received the funds that were lost due to the accident. We strongly recommend McClanahan Law Firm.

Don't hire the McClanahan Law Firm! This office will run your tab up then bill you for a stamp when they can email you the letter. I'm a military veteran and retained this office for over two months to work on a case. When the case went to court the attorney (Doug) told the judge that our argument would take 30 minutes but it took less than 15 minutes which caused us to wait in court for 2 hours to be heard while being billed at $200 an hour. The attorney put on a lack luster defense and did not submit documentation/evidence to back up his defense. After losing the motion, I cancelled my service with the McClanahan Law Firm and requested the final bill. I recieved a reply stating the remaining balance will be taking out of my retainer deposit and we're "even". Three weeks later I received a call stating that if I do not pay $220.99, that I will be retroactively billed for the account balance of which I was already told we were "even". I now have to go through the North Carolina Bar Association to get this resolved. If you want to be over billed, lose your case, and feel like you've been taken advantage of then go with McClanahan Law Firm.

Doug did an outstanding job representing me in two cases and I'm very satisfied with the outcome. In both cases we received all of what we requested. He guided us through every aspect of the legal proceeding with care and understanding. He is extremely knowledgeable, very responsive and an excellent attorney to work with.
