I had never dealt with a personal injury firm before, but my neighbor recommended that I contact Metzger Wickersham because they used that firm and were happy with the results. I talked to them and retained Troy Brown III as my lawyer. He was very friendly and down to earth. He explained everything in detail and in "plain English". He initiated updates on my case and even went the extra mile (literally) to come out to my house to meet with me. The few times I did call the office, all of the office staff I spoke with were very friendly and helpful as well. There is really nothing bad I can think of about this firm. I've had positive experiences and am very thankful for Troy and his staff for helping me with my case. This is the only firm I would recommend to anyone needing their services.

I was involved in a car accident (not at fault), that seemed like it would be straightforward. The at-fault driver accepted fault and so did their insurance company. The problem was that they wanted to settle within the next week, and I didn't even know the extent of my bills (or how my injuries would pan out), yet. I had never been in this situation before, but had friends and colleagues all telling me to "get a lawyer". I was lucky that I only suffered minor injuries, but even that involved a ride to the ER, but it was complicated by the fact that my personal vehicle was totalled on authorized company time, so workers' comp and my personal insurance were all involved; oh, and I am not a resident of PA, where the accident occurred, so it got confusing and started to feel overwhelming pretty quickly....then the bills started to roll in. I called four other PA law firms, and emailed one more, that reportedly offered free consultations. I never got a single return call or email...or letter, for that matter. While griping about this when a co-worker asked if I was having any luck figuring it all out, they asked if I'd called Metzger Wickersham. I said I'd never even heard of them, and they gave me their number and said their neighbor had had good luck with them. So I called, and someone actually did answer the phone and asked for a brief synopsis of why I was calling and said they'd have one of their attorneys call me back. I had heard that one, before. But they DID call back, a few hours late (and I forget the gentleman's name, but he worked with Zack Campbell) and wanted more details about my situation so that he could provide it to Mr. Campbell. He was very pleasant and professional and said that Mr. Campbell would give me a call back once he'd had time to review my information. That actually happened, too....the same day! But I missed the call and received a voice message. I called back and got Mr. Campbell's voice mail and left a message (as my schedule would be complicated the following day and I was sure I'd just blown my chance to speak to anyone). But no... Mr. Campbell called me the next day, spoke to me in frank detail about what he knew (and what he didn't) regarding the details of my situation, answered all of my questions, and was extremely pleasant, professional, patient and straightforward. He was also up front that my situation did need an attorney, yet, unless one of a few variables changed. The discussion was a huge peace of mind, for me. I also received a follow-up letter about a week later noting our conversation. Nothing has since developed that would warrant me needing them for my situation, as I was able to work through almost all of it on my own after our conversation. However, if I ever did/do need a personal injury attorney in PA, I'm not even going to bother trying to contact anyone else!

I am absolutely and completely impressed with this firm. Them adding attorney, Lori Painter, to the team was a smart decision. Lori went above and beyond for me during my SS disability appeal process and hearing. I have life long leukemia and spinal damage but looking at me, you might not be able to tell. My previous attorney left me feeling as if I were just another number.....a very insignificant number and as if I weren't serious about my disease, the daily chemo meds I have to take forever and the effects it has on my body. After my previous attorney moved on after my first SS disability claim attempt was denied, Lori picked up the pieces and I immediately felt confident and blessed that someone was listening to what I was saying, what my husband was saying, what my oncologist says, my neurologist says, my pain specialist, my pcp....etc. She took her time and her paralegal did too. When I was hit by a car while riding my bicycle in Nov, of 2021, I learned that having a lawyer would be important to making sure all of my expenses would be compensated by the driver’s insurance. I submitted my information to several area law firms, and Craig Love from Metzger/Wickersham contacted me in twenty minutes! After meeting, I felt very comfortable with the lawyers from M/W. They were exceedingly thorough and kept me informed about every step they were taking and they did an excellent job of setting our expectations. The final settlement was better than we expected; both in the payment from the insurance companies and a negotiated reduction of the subrogation lien from my health insurance.

I had very little hope of having a case. They took my information and decided I did have a case. They were able to get me a fair settlement in a reasonable if not short amount of time. Clark was able to find money places I would never have thought to look. They kept me informed each step of the way of my options. Although making a drunk driver financial responsible for his actions Clark explained that would be up to a jury and could go either way and take a lot longer. I decided to take the settlement that ended up growing a little more before I signed the papers. Again thanks to Clark. I would like to thank all the people behind the scenes that played a pivotal part in bring this to a close so quickly. I would definitely recommend Metzger Wickersham even if you don't think you have a case run it past them. You might be as surprised as I was! Just remember to be patient and let them do their job they don't disappoint!
