I’ve been working with Mike and his staff at Fulserv on difficult Federal and state tax matters for over 3 years, and I would enthusiastically recommend them to anyone and everyone! They were able to resolve complex issues and secure unbelievable results every time I asked for assistance. Even when I made egregious errors and missed “final” government deadlines, they always had creative and effective ways to keep me out of trouble and save me a relative fortune. In a single word, they are the Best!
I have had the privilege of being a client of Mike's for over a decade now, and I must say, he has consistently exceeded my expectations with his exceptional accounting services. I initially hired him due to his vast experience with the IRS, and it proved to be one of the best decisions I made. When I first approached Mike, I was under the impression that I owed a significant amount to the IRS. However, after Mike diligently went through my case, the situation was completely turned around - the IRS ended up owing me! It was a huge relief to have someone with such a high level of expertise handling this issue for me. In the years since, Mike has been an unwavering source of guidance and support. His knowledge and understanding of tax law are unparalleled, making him an invaluable resource. He continues to offer sound advice that allows me to manage my business and personal finances more effectively. I highly recommend Mike for anyone in need of expert accounting services. His professionalism, expertise, and dedication are truly second to none. Thank you, Mike, for being a reassuring constant in the world of tax and accounting!
The Fulserv Group does not disappoint. They are excellent advisors, prompt responders, and shrewd negotiators with the IRS. I have trusted them with my business and personal taxes for more than a decade. Mike Breslin's monthly newsletter should be published in the WSJ! It always entertains and informs. Can't say enough good stuff about Fulserve.
Michael Breslin and the FULSERV team do more than provide excellent accounting — they take the uncertainty and worries of tax filing with confidence and clarity. And when my wife and I created our business, FULSERV navigated us through steps we couldn’t have possibly foreseen. And they do this all with the most compassionate, down-to-earth level of care and concern.
STAY AWAY. SLOPPY and ENTITLED. Knowing that working with a good CPA is a two way street, and that a friend had a long relationship with Fulserv Group, I tried to keep my side of the street clean in order to forge a good working relationship with this firm. However, working with Michael Breslin has not caused me a small amount of stress and aggravation. It is not one thing with which I hold issue, rather, a pattern of repeated negligence that leads me to write this review. Allow me to explain: For starters, I sent in all of my info - clean and organized - for a return, in late January. On April 4, after saying he was going to call me for the past 2 weeks (he hadn't), he finally called me and said he still hadn't filed. He also nickels and dimes, charging for things like quarterly vouchers, whereas all other CPAs include them in their package. I let this slide because I was interested in seeing what he could do in the customer service realm. I later learned the hard way that he has a sloppy, entitled attitude. Michael Breslin infrequently calls and writes back. I would write to ask for confirmation of receipt of materials repeatedly with no reply (I have the email trail to prove it). Furthermore, one of his employees once missed a filing, and I incurred a small penalty as a result. Not a big penalty, but that wasn't the point; Michael Breslin acted as if he had no clue about the transgression even though he was copied on every email during the incident. After a 20 minute curse-filled diatribe about how understaffed he is, he finally said "I'm sorry." to me for the mistake. This firm is a hot mess. If his customer service was worth it, I'd have no problem paying for any add-on fees. However, this is not the case with Michael Breslin and the Fulserv Group. He didn't act like he is interested in making sure I remain in excellent standing with the IRS. His ongoing excuse is "we're understaffed". If you're so busy then it stands to reason that you can afford to hire more staff, am I right? I found another CPA who is half the price and already my experience with them has been infinitely smoother and more professional.
