The Downer Law firm helped the case go through the bureaucratic system. Although I do feel that communication throughout the case was poor, I am also fully aware that the system itself is flawed and slow. At the end of the day I am very pleased with the outcome of my settlement and do suggest that communication be improved for future clients. My father called many times and did not receive a phone call back. With that being said, we are grateful for Mr. Downer’s representation in reaching a settlement in our favor.

They suck at communication! Find a firm that will put you first because this is not the place! You are never able to speak with anyone about your case. They don’t return phone calls. You have to constantly call and demand to get someone on the phone. Even then you won’t get a true update. For months I waited on them to collect my medical records and they said they were waiting on the provider. I called the provider and they had not record of them even making a request. I had to then call them back and call them out on their lie. I would never use them in another case!

I was rear-ended while riding my motorcycle. They got me a great settlement which was more than I had expected. I would 100% use this firm again and recommend it to anyone I know.

They have represented 2 cases for me, both of which were handled as quickly and as smoothly as possible. Any questions I had regarding either case was answered as clearly as possible, everyone in the office is nice and professional

I came to read the reviews to see if anyone was having the same issue as me. Turns out a lot of people talk about the lack of communication, not receiving callbacks, or updates on their case. It's very frustrating to not get any updates. Of course lawsuits take time but communication is key. Just very disappointing.
