I paid $125/30 min consult to a lawyer who was extremely rude, condescending, and dismissive of my situation. When people reach out for help, when they feel powerless in their situation, it's not very professional to look down on somebody because they don't know the law and treat them like idiots. He seemed like I was bothering him or he had something better to do with his time.

When I grew up your word was everything. The truth and endurance in your commitment was always genuine. This is what Archibald Thomas gave to me. I was terminated from my Federal job with no prior written notice. My federal career was destroyed because one supervisor did not like me.She told lie after lie. It has been 6 years of fighting with investigator after investigator- judge after judge . Mr. Thomas sent the most Awsome briefing to the judge. Unfortunately in my opinion there is no accountability any more. They deny and lie with no remorse! Even though the 5 administrators I worked under all agreed my work was acceptable and that they were never contacted about my performance it made no difference! They did not care. In the end I lost my case with no hearing! At least I had A person who fought intensely to win my case and because of his persistence my supervisor was removed to another facility. The people I worked with we’re finally given freedom from her controlling vindictive supervision. To me I chose to except the fact that GOD used the situation for his good. Saying that there is still a lot of pain but I will survive knowing we put up a good fight! Thank you Mr. Thomas for all you did for me and for your genuine concern for my well being. Edna Dee Jones

Went in for a consult with one of the attorneys present that day a few months ago. Sat down explained my circumstances for a fee of $85 for the half hour...my appointment went 45 mins and mostly consisted of the attorney just staring down at his notes (what few he took), not saying a word and quite honestly looking puzzled. At the end he explained he felt I had something and would discuss the matter with a senior member of the firm. When pressed when he felt an offer letter may be mailed he stated, I don't like to work with timetables, we'll send one out at latest in a few weeks. Waited two weeks, then three...and it's now been well over a month. I decided I would follow-up with a phone call understanding that perhaps due to work load it may have been put the side. I spoke to a member of the office who it seemed had no idea who I was (easy to familiarize herself when conferring with their systems) upon giving my name. Advised me that due to the number of depositions they'd been immersed in in recent weeks that it may have slipped through the cracks. I then told her that I had been seen weeks before that time and she became a little more forceful and promised the call would be returned...still I wait. From the outside looking in it would appear that there is a sense of false hope the firm feigns when speaking to this individual and that perhaps the real payoff for them is the fee collected at the end of the session. Very misleading were it not for the fact that the attorney felt I may have a reasonable case but follow that up with the fact no effort has been made to reach out to me given his belief. A simple we tried but felt there was nothing to pursue, fine. But absolute neglect is not the way to run a business which claims to seek justice for those wronged in their place of employment.

Avoid at all costs. Paid $230 for consultation. Signed contract for representation. Prior to paying the demand of SEVERAL thousands in upfront fees (nonrefundable), I asked attorney to read 1.5 pages of a document I had recently received that applied to the case, importantly. FOUR MONTHS PASSED, STILL THEY DID NOT READ 1.5 PAGES AND REPLY TO SHARE THOUGHTS. Seriously, just one and a half pages... After numerous times of me "checking in for an update," I hear nothing over 4 months. Finally, when I became more insistent, attorney then sent a letter rescinding offer to represent me. Basically, they wasted FOUR MONTHS of my time on a matter that has legal deadlines for filing. By doing this, it means means this firm either or both: (1) has no regard for client success, just wants fees and then will decide whether or not there is chance of winning (at your expense), or (2) is so disorganized that they can't manage to read 1.5 pages (so then, how could they do anything else more reliably?). In either case, AVOID! There are firms that do the same thing in Orlando, Tampa, etc., so don't be fooled that this is the "only" firm doing such, as they told me. Waste of consultation fee and nearly half a year!

FIASCO!! I am very disappointed with the way the lead paralegal, Jillian has performed regarding gather information during a period of discovery. I am disabled and needed assistance. She led me on a wild goose chase by requesting the same documents numerous times and then stating untrue information totally irrelevant to my case!...after driving over to SS (a long distant from my home) delivering duplicate printed hard copies of doc visits, etc, still she's asking for more (I have provided all I have and blood). There is a serious disconnect somewhere which has led me to seek representation elsewhere. I have my right to sue ltr and a legitimate case but I have never felt so alone while in an extremely low place of being discriminated against by my ex employer already and given the fact that I've provided this documentation and am now being told the docs provided were not sufficient (but we're good enough for the EEOC). When I requested to speak with the lead attorney regarding this concern, not for representation (but to acknowledge my concern with her lack of assistance and uncaring disposition in my opinion...someone needed to know the clock is ticking)...she stated that there would be a new fee for Mr. Archibald to hear my complaint about her...wow!, this and offering no clarification, not any further assistance. Actually im glad I didn't lose as much as others on here! The attorney who consulted read a paper or two and began to ask questions but would ramble on and on without giving me a chance to respond...just provide more docs! Go figure! Now im back to square one after an entire year! ????
